Correctly wear and use labor protection products

1. Production and business entities should establish and improve the management system for labor protection products. It is necessary to strengthen the management of the purchase, acceptance, custody, distribution, renewal, and retirement of labor protection supplies, and supervise and educate employees to wear and use them in accordance with the requirements.

2. The provided protective equipment must meet national or industrial standards. It is not allowed to replace labor protection articles with currency or other articles, nor to purchase or use products that exceed the service life or inferior quality, so as to ensure that protective articles can exert their unique effects under emergencies.

3. In the wearing and use of labor protection articles, the following conditions must be prevented:

(1) People engaged in high-altitude operations do not fall down with their seat belts.

(2) Engaging in electrical work (or hand-held power tools) does not result in electric shock from wearing insulated safety shoes.

(3) wearing uniforms, wearing skirts or casual clothes in the workshop or on the construction site, or wearing uniforms but not wearing uniforms, open fronts, and not wearing cuffs, causing mechanical entanglement.

(4) The long hair does not fit into the work cap, causing the long hair to be mechanically involved.

(5) Wear gloves incorrectly. Some of the wearers do not wear them, causing burns, punctures, and other injuries. Some people shouldn't wear them, causing them to take their gloves and bring them to their hands. Even the arm can bring injuries.

(6) Do not wear proper goggles and face masks in time to make the face and eyes subject to splashing injuries or burns, or to strong light to cause visual impairment.

(7) Wear a safety helmet incorrectly. When an object falls or the head is struck, an accident is caused.

(8) Wearing protective safety shoes in the workplace is not in accordance with the regulations, causing foot injuries.
