a. Soil nitrogen deficiency will make the whole plant leaves light green to yellow. The initially mature leaves or near-mature leaves change from rich green to yellow-green, the degree of yellow gradually deepens, and the petioles and veins turn red. At this point, the growth of the new shoots is hindered, the leaf area is reduced, and the shoots and leaves are relatively hard.
b. If the nitrogen deficiency is too severe, the mesophyll between the large veins will appear red or reddish-brown spots within 1 to 3 weeks. In the later stages, many red spots developed into necrotic spots. The leaves gradually form a separation layer and fall off, starting from the base of the new shoots that year, gradually developing upward.
c. The top of the new shoot has short growth, many flower buds, and the fruit setting rate is greatly reduced. (2) Conditions of occurrence

(3) Correction method
a. Generally, nitrogen fertilizers such as urea, ammonium sulfate, ammonium hydrogencarbonate, etc. are applied, and the symptoms of nitrogen deficiency disappear. Orchards that are normally fertilized are not susceptible to nitrogen deficiency.
