Second, the basic structure of microgrid


The schematic diagram of the structure of the microgrid is shown in the figure. It may form part of a medium-voltage or low-voltage distribution network, and the load is supplied through a distributed power supply. According to the operating characteristics of the microgrid, the microgrid may be connected to the large-scale power grid through the PCC and can also be disconnected from it into the isolated grid operation mode (IG). When the microgrid is connected to the grid, the operation and control modes of the microgrid also switch between the two states, namely, the Grid Dependent (GD) and the Grid Independent (GI). . The difference between GD and GI mode is whether there is power exchange between the microgrid and the large grid.


According to the structure, the microgrid can be divided into three types: micro-grid, industrial micro-grid, and remote micro-grid.

The former is mainly used in the prosperous areas of the city, while the latter is used to plan the rural power grid.
