Kyocera Solar Introduces Residential Photovoltaic Module with 17.8% Gyna Battery Efficiency

Kyocera announced on November 20, 2012 that it has realized the production of polysilicon solar modules with a maximum output of 200W for Japanese residential applications. This component is the highest output power of the company's solar module for residential use, using 48 high-efficiency solar cells, including polysilicon solar cells "Gyna" with a cell conversion efficiency of 17.8%. The conversion efficiency of the components is about 15%.

This component will be used as a new product in the "ECONOROOTS" series of residential photovoltaic power generation systems. Sales will begin on November 22, 2012 through Kyocera Solar. Suggested retail price (excluding tax), "ECONOROOTS type R (Model: KJ200P-3CRCE)" with dimensions W1338mm × L1012mm × H36mm and "ECONOROOTS type G (Model: KJ200P-3CJ2CE) with W1341mm × L990mm × H36mm" Both are 100,000 yen. The “ECONOROOTS type U (Model: KJ200P-3CUCE)” with an external dimension of W1338mm×L990mm×H46mm is 96,000 yen.
